Foundation       Judy McLeod
November is Foundation month and a good time to make a contribution to it. 100% of all the donations go directly to projects around the world. The goal is to have us become an EREY club - contributions from "every Rotarian every year". Next week our speaker  an International Rotarian  will be providing information about the status of the  Foundation.

District Governor Dave Hamilton informed that an E mail will soon be coming out explaining how to acquire a Paul Harris recognition for $US500 
A certificate recognition of our being a member of the End Polio Club was presented to past president Gail 
 
Christmas Characters  Leslie
Recognition of Ian Bourhill's special contribution to the  project. He provided the space for the construction of the characters and, just as important, their storage afterwards. This major project came together thanks to this significant support by Ian and his company
 
Fundraising  Tom Yingling
The "Shop Local" project is proceeding with the co-operation of the Delta Optimist. This includes many of the companies that have supported our events. It is open to other local businesses wishing exposure in the community 
 
Interact Presentation   Laura Dixon
Laura introduced some members of the Interact club that meets weekly and boasts a membership of +40 . Their major activities were outlined including :
- Christmas characters with artist guild
- Polio awareness poster campaign
 
- Remembrance Day crosses installation
- Beach cleanup
In a surprise ending Val Little on behalf of the District presented the Interact citation of Gold Distinction to Devon and Joelle
