Global Handwashing Day   Yvonne Anderson
Handwashing with soap is the simplest form of hygiene and is especially important in these pandemic times. This society-wide approach is moving throughout the world. Yvonne described how people in Uganda are taught the fundamentals of hand washing, the creation of "tippy tap" stations and the development of a cottage industry in the making of soap. Clean water and hygiene go hand in hand as we still have 3000 children dying  daily from diarrhoeal diseases.
