Linda Ding began the meeting with a video recording of O Canada sung by our Olympians at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games
 
Peter Edwards delivered the invocation reflecting on the changed world that we now face and remembering that our mission is to continue providing service to those in need

Cindy Phillip $5 for two weeks spent in the Penticton-Osoyoos area . They left early with much of the area's roads closed.
 
Joan Hansen $5 for a trip to the US taking in the Hood River region and Portland
 
Gail McEwan $10 for a planned two week Okanagan holiday that was cut short thanks to the fire and smoke in the area
 
Rick Lewall $30 for a whirlwind holiday on Vancouver Island with much of his extended family 
 
Liz Ellis $10 happy to report that her daughter living with MS is stable and to promote the A&W Teenburger programme that supports those with MS
 
Judy McLeod $5 for a five day trip that took her to Saltspring and Nanaimo and made her feel that life is coming close to normal
 
Tom Yingling $10 for hearing from his sister in Peachland who is OK in spite of having waterbombers flying directly over her house

Chennai: Our Sister Club
We were pleased to have President Sumir Saproo of our sister club of Chennai India join us for the meeting. He was presented with our club's support of of $1200 for the pandemic support. This was augmented by an additional $1000 from the individual member donations. President  Sumir who was joining our breakfast meeting in the middle of the nightexpressed how lucky he felt to be in contact with a club such as ours. the past four weeks have been extremely difficult but thanks to the help and words of others. The financial support has gone to the needy who are most thankful for our generosity.

Liz Ellis our club's international chairperson introduced Daniel, the operations manager and Moreen, the field director who presented a video that demonstrated the self-sufficient status of the Tekera Resource Centre.

Sergeant Benno managed but one fine :
To David Anderson for not tuning in to start the invocation on time and providing us with an insight into his domestic life .
 
Benno ended the meeting with a limerick:
 
"Tom's grandkids gave us a smile
David's invocation began after a while
Greg gave us a quick SWOT analysis
Hope it doesn't cause speech paralysis
But the plan will take us over the next mile"
