The Peace Builder award was shared between Indigenous facilitator for the school district Nathan Wilson and Tanya Corbett who serves as liaison between Tsawwassen First Nations and the City of Delta. The decision to return to Beach Grove was made by the board. However this will not be a return to normal: -a different room -a different breakfast: continental vs buffet -need to show proof of vaccination before entering -declaring in advance that you plan to attend The first in-person breakfast meeting is planned for Oct 7 Special Presentation Gail McEwan Gail introduced Nicole Federucci the representative of the Wawanesa Insurance company headquartered in Manitoba. The company is celebrating its 125th anniversary and is donating much of its surplus in the form of donations to community organizations. Our club is indeed fortunate and thankful to being one of the two $12,500 recipients handed out in the area. A huge thankyou to Gail for making the connection and to Nicole for making this possible.
