The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen Charitable Society      Past President Gail

This is a separate entity from the rest of the club's finances. It is a registered society that provides tax receipts to its donors. Because of its status these donated funds are subject to restrictions as to how they are allocated. The Society was set up under the initiative of member Ed Lye in 2005.
Gail as past president is automatically the chairperson and is assisted by Judy McLeod as secretary , Roger Pryke as treasurer with Liz Ellis and Laura Dixon on the board of directors.
Gail spoke about how donations are made and explained that the web site provides a summary as where the funds have gone

Friends of Rotary  Tom Smith
Friends of our club are contacted through an email distribution that automatically includes them when informing of our projects and other general information such as this weekly bulletin. This keeps members of the public informed of our activities, sometimes brings them out to help and can encourage them to join the club. If you know of anyone who should be included in this list please contact Tom.

Christmas Characters President Laureen
A visual presentation on this major project chronicled the development this major club project from its initiative in early summer to its completion and readiness for the Christmas season. The video showed the cutting of the plywood at Ian's garage, the assembling of the pieces, the priming and eventually the painting with the assistance of the Artist Guild. Of importance was the work of Leslie and John who kept the project on track.
The project could not have taken place without a great deal of person power provided by the 22 Rotarians, 12 family and friends, the Interact club, and the local artists who all contributed to provide Christmas enjoyment for this year and into the future.
