Our hybrid meeting at the Red Barn began with Wayne Connorton leading the singing of O Canada.
Leslie delivered the invocation in which she gave thanks to Rotary for providing us with many opportunities to share our talents and resources with our neighbours

Happy Dollars

Because of the meeting's full agenda the travel and happy dollars was shortened to :
 
Ed Lee $10 for his recent adventures in traveling between Vancouver and San Francisco
 
Blake Cowan a happy $20 in appreciation of the members who have volunteered to stand for next year's  board of directors

INTERNATIONAL GIVING
Chennai and Tekera
 
Chennai: Our Sister Club
We were pleased to have President Sumir Saproo of our sister club of Chennai India join us for the meeting. He was presented with our club's support of of $1200 for the pandemic support. This was augmented by an additional $1000 from the individual member donations. President  Sumir who was joining our breakfast meeting in the middle of the nightexpressed how lucky he felt to be in contact with a club such as ours. the past four weeks have been extremely difficult but thanks to the help and words of others. The financial support has gone to the needy who are most thankful for our generosity.
 
Tekera:
Liz Ellis our club's international chairperson introduced Daniel, the operations manager and Moreen, the field director who presented a video that demonstrated the self-sufficient status of the Tekera Resource Centre.

To David Anderson for not tuning in to start the invocation on time and providing us with an insight into his domestic life .
 
Benno ended the meeting with a limerick:
 
"Tom's grandkids gave us a smile
David's invocation began after a while
Greg gave us a quick SWOT analysis
Hope it doesn't cause speech paralysis
But the plan will take us over the next mile"
