Please find attached above a brochure with details of an upcoming Shred-A-Thon. A Shred-A-Thon is both a fundraiser for Tsawwassen Rotary and a very safe and effective means by way of disposing of old unwanted documents. We have chosen January 30th, 2021 as we feel people will be wanting to clear out another year's unwanted documents at that time.
Please note that proceeds of this event go towards the Rotary “Starfish Back Program,” which is like a food bank for needy young kids in South Delta. Essentially a backpack is filled with food every Friday so the child has food for the weekend at home. It’s surprising the demand for this here in South Delta. In addition, we will be using partial proceeds to create and build the “Storybook Walk” in Beach Grove with pages out of a storybook for children to enjoy outdoors while they walk from one reading station to the next, exercise and reading.. all great!
