In the Winskill parking lot Rotarian Peter Dandyk passes $10,000 to Executive Director Sandra Gebhardt to top off the new bus fund for the Boys And Girls Club

"I love this bus!" yelled Aden Schooley as he jumped off the new Boys and Girls Club bus outside the Winskill Club. Every afternoon the air fills with energy as enthusiastic young minds grow in the lively atmosphere. Today that excitement spilled out to the parking lot for the delivery of their new bus. After inspecting the bus Gabriel Ducasse decided, "It smells good, like brand new!" "This is great!" beamed Coordinator, Rachel Macool, as she welcomes young passengers aboard. The Directors knew they had the room, proven programs and activities with quality supervision. But reliability concerns with the old smaller bus meant it was time to act if they wanted Tsawwassen youth to have safe and positive after school experiences. It turns out the Directors were right; community support was strong for a new and bigger bus. It climaxed when the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen contributed the final $10,000 needed to reach the $70,000 goal.
